Pralines
| 4 cups sugar | 4 tbsp Karo syrup |
| 1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk | 1 can water |
| 1 tsp butter | 1/2 tsp vanilla |
| 4 - 6 cups pecans | |

Mix sugar, Karo, condensed milk, and water thoroughly. Cook over a low fire until the soft-boil stage. remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla, and pecans. Beat until the mixture holds its shape. Spoon onto buttered wax paper, and allow to cool. |
