Tangy Meatballs
| 1lb ground beef | 1 egg, slightly beaten |
| 1/2 cup chili sauce | 1/4 cup finely chopped onion |
| 1 tsp. salt | 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper |
| 1 1/2 cups cheese-cracker crumbs | Cooking oil |

Combine the ground beef, egg chili sauce, chopped onion, salt, and pepper with 1 cup cheese-cracker crumbs. Mix thoroughly. Shape into tiny meatballs, and roll in the remaining 1/2 cup cracker crumbs. sauté the meatballs 5 minutes in 1/2 inch of hot cooking oil, turning to brown on all sides. removed to a chafing dish, and serve with toothpicks. |
