

Dis is a delightful dish. It is so easy to fix,
I garontee!

| 2 pounds slab bacon,
cut into thick pieces |
1 cup dry white wine |
| 1 tsp cayenne pepper |
salt to taste |
| 2 cups (4 sticks)
butter or margarine |
1 dozen ears sweet
corn, shucked |

Place the bacon, wine, cayenne, and salt in a large
pot and pour in enough water to cover the corn when it is added. Bring
to a rolling boil,. Add the butter and let this cook for about 10 minutes.
Bring to a rolling boil again and add the corn. Bring to a full boil again
and cook for 20 minutes. Drain and serve.
